| Through growing up Stefanie was always interested in some kind of art. She's gone through obsessions of working with different materials and experimenting with new processes. She is a self taught wood worker. In 1999 Stefanie was asked by owners of It's Only Natural, in Middletown to create something they could sell in their restaurant gallery. She surveyed the artwork they were selling and wanted to make something different. Someone was already working with clay, oils, metal, jewelery and glass... The answer seemed easy- wood! She started experimenting with different woods and woodworking tools. The swirl sunburst is the shape that started it all and from there the evolution began! Painting on the wood gave another dimension to the whimsical funky shapes and then of course the thick shiny coating to make all the colors pop! Her passion for working with wood was born and has continued ever since! |

Stefanie found her soul-mate and best friend Carl and life has never been better! They have 2 incredible children, Callie Sage and Flynn and 2 dogs, Althea and Mackintosh. Family gives Stefanie constant inspiration to create and the support to follow her dreams. |

Together they enjoy life to the fullest! As a family they enjoy traveling, the ocean & the lake, music, kayaking, hiking, boating, snowboarding/skiing, fine food, friends and looking at the world in a different light. |
